Quadster HPV

Quadster HPV Video Clips. Duration : 3.03 Mins.

The Quadster HPV is a home-built human-powered vehicle, inspired by the "horseless carriage" of days gone by. It is designed for practicality and comfort, though it is capable of surprising speed. It is light weight for a two-seater, under 35 kg (~75 lb), stable and easily maneuvered - a fun alternative for pleasure and short trips. Both riders have 21 speeds, independently controlled and paced. The pilot handles the under-seat steering and brakes. It's just the right width for trails and bike lanes, under 1200mm (47 in.) wide. The frame is steel, all components are premium and commonly available: Sugino short-stroke 152mm crankset, Avid BB7 brakes, Shimano Ultima bar-end shifters, derailleurs and freewheels, Velocity Dyad 700C rear and 20-inch front wheels, and more. To tame the elements, fairings and fenders can be added. Find the build including my fits and foibles at the AtomicZombie Forum, at the link: forum.atomiczombie.com
